Campbeltown Airport

Campbeltown Airport provides access to the Isle of Arran and until 1997 served as a base for NATO operations. It also boasts the longest runway in Europe.

The small, single terminal is open from 9:30am to 5:30pm weekdays, while it remains closed on weekends, although requests for use can be made. Loganair offers a direct scheduled flight to Glasgow.

There is a small café and shop within the terminal building, selling snacks and convenience items. There are no banking facilities.

Facilities for disabled passengers include ramps, wide entrances and exits, and helpful staff. The airport information desk is located just inside the main entrance.

There are no rail links with the airport, although there is a bus service operating from the airport upon all scheduled flights.

The airport is located on the Machrihanish road, which turns off the A83 just outside the town of Campbeltown. The airport is about three miles east of Campbeltown town centre.

Car hire and taxi information is available in the terminal building. A small car park offers both short- and long-term parking within walking distance of the terminal.
