Glasgow Prestwick International Airport

Glasgow Prestwick enjoys a more relaxed atmosphere than Scotland's other two major entry points, while still offering an impressive range of scheduled flights, including European and trans-Atlantic services.

The check-in area is located at the front of the terminal building while domestic arrivals and all departure lounges are located towards the rear of the building. Facilities include a Travelex bureau de change, ATM, baby change rooms, children's play area, and an amusement arcade.

The airport information desk is located on the ground floor and is open for all flights.

A number of shops (duty-free after security), bars and restaurants can be found throughout the terminal building, while numerous food and refreshment outlets can be found in the Food Village on the ground floor. All shops and restaurants are open from 6am until the final flight of the day.

A business lounge is located in the terminal building, providing access to phone, photocopy and Internet facilities for business travellers.

Facilities for disabled passengers include spacious lifts and stair lifts, specially designed toilets, dedicated parking, free wheelchair use, and staff assistance.

The airport is the only one in Scotland with its own train station, with trains to and from Glasgow Central station leaving every half-hour (every hour on Sundays). Stagecoach Western Express Service X77 is a direct bus connection between the airport and Glasgow Buchanan Street Station.

The M77 motorway provides a fast connection between the airport and north to Glasgow city centre. There are two short-stay and two long-stay car parks.
