The
Bahamas is an archipelago of some 700 islands scattered across
100,000 square miles of ocean from Florida to the tip of the
main Caribbean islands.
Only
30 of the islands are inhabited, coral reefs and sandbanks surround
virtually all the islands, Humpbacked whales, Blue whales and
bottle nosed dolphins are often to be seen in the waters east
of the Bahamas.. .
|
Flowers bloom all year round with over 1300 different
species of plants and trees.
The
larger inhabited islands in the group are New Providence
and Grand Bahama .
Nassau

colonial architecture, restaurants, boutiques and markets
where you can barter for fabrics, spices and all manner
of colourful local crafts

walking .[yes both these sports are available here] just across
the water is Paradise island joined by two long bridges this
purpose built resort has miles of beaches including Shipwreck
Beach great diving and fishing.
The
Out Islands of Grand Bahama, Harbour Island ,Abaco and Cat
