Grenada
Grenada
is only Twenty-one miles long and twelve miles wide; this most
southerly of the Windward islands has an idillic climate.
Also
known as the Spice Islands with the exotic aroma of nutmeg,
cinnamon and ginger waft ing over the beaches, lush tropical
forests, lakes and waterfalls create one of the most beautiful
holiday destinations in the Caribbean.

The
horseshoe shaped harbour of the capital of St George
is always a buss with activity where many local produce
can be purchased from spices to arts and crafts.
North of the island is another landmark called Carib's
Leap or Leapers Hill it is here that the Carib Indian's
preferred to leap to certain death rather than surrender
to the invading French in 1651.

Even
though Grenada is a small island there is a variety of things
to do like sailing and snorkelling in the crystal clear water
or visit a spice plantation for the real thing or just laze
away the days on one of the 45 palm fringed beaches.
