THE AENEAS HOTEL

Ayia Napa, Cyprus

Don't Forget Your Travel Insurance

Covering 14 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and just across the road from the white sands and clear waters of Nissi Beach, stands a unique low rise resort modeled around the largest lagoon-style swimming pool in Europe. Blending perfectly with the environment, the Aeneas Hotel elevates traditional Cypriot architecture and hospitality to the levels of a luxurious holiday resort.

The Aeneas hotel sits in a quiet location, 2 km west of Ayia Napa town centre, and a stone-throw away from perhaps the most famous, and arguably the most beautiful beach on the island of Cyprus. It is distinguished by its own island, or “Nissi” in Greek, which is found on the west side of the beach and can be accessed by a stunning strip of white sand separating its two bays. Other unique features of Nissi Beach are its gently shelving shoreline and its very shallow and crystal clear waters.

The beach offers plenty of facilities including water sports, restaurants and bars. All this can be reached within seconds from the Aeneas Hotel premises as the beach stands just 100 metres away. For those seeking a more secluded beach, there is a lovely cove less than ten minutes walk from the hotel towards Macronissos. Many beach-lovers find that the water temperature in Cyprus remains warm from mid April right through to mid- November and choose to travel in Spring or Autumn for a cooler and more tranquil setting.

Our breath-taking free form swimming pool, one of the largest in the world, is a major attraction in itself, featuring crossover bridges, jacuzzi, fountains, water jets and waterfalls. A separate children's pool allows safe paddling for even the youngest members of the family. To complete this magnificent panorama of bathing pleasure, the entire pool area covering 4000sqm is surrounded by terraces and gardens inviting you to lie down and simply bask in the warm sun.

Please Note. Since 1974, the Cypriot government has designated Larnaca and Paphos international airports, and the seaports of Limassol, Larnaca, and Paphos, as the only legal points of entry into and exit from Cyprus. These ports are all in the government-controlled southern part of the island. Entry or exit via any other air or seaport is not authorised by the Cypriot government. It is possible for visitors to arrive at non-designated airports and seaports in the north, but they should not expect to cross the United Nations-patrolled "green line" to the government-controlled areas in the south. Such travel is not permitted by the government of Cyprus, even for transit purposes. Visitors arriving through designated ports of entry in the south are normally able to cross into the north for day trips. Policy and procedures regarding such travel are subject to change. Information on this may be obtained at the U.N. "Buffer Zone" Checkpoint.
