Florida Beaches South East Coast

Jonathan Dickinson State Park
Located on Hobe Sound in north county, this park offers picnic areas, nature trails, an observation tower, canoe rentals and boat trips on Loxahatchee River, bike paths and a playground in addition to a stunning beach.
Jupiter Beach
Found south of Jupiter Inlet, this is a 1,700-foot oceanfront beach with picnic areas. Sand volleyball courts, children's play areas and plenty of surf for fishing complete the beach package.
Burt Reynolds Park
This is a rocky, but stunning beach found in Jupiter. It offers a boat launch and picnic, and the Loxahatchee Historical Museum is in the park.
Carlin Park
Carlin Park is a beautiful beach in Jupiter consisting of 117 acres. Beach-goers will enjoy everything from picnic areas to playing tennis. Restaurant on site. Directions: Interstate I-95 to Indiantown Road East
Dubois Park
With more than 1,200 feet of tropical palm-lined beach and amenities like volleyball courts and surf fishing, this park is a relaxing favorite.
Juno Beach Park
This is a lifeguarded, 300-foot beach, with picnic areas, restrooms and showers and a 1,000-foot fishing pier.
Loggerhead Park
A part of Juno Beach, Loggerhead Park includes a nature trail, Marine Life Center, picnic area, bike path and tennis courts.
John D. MacArthur Beach State Park
Singer Island's 8,000-foot oceanfront beach has a boardwalk, picnic areas, nature center with guided tours and live exhibits. Visitors can explore a maritime hammock and mangrove communities. This is also a prime nesting area for sea turtles. Directions: Interstate I-95 to PGA Boulevard East
Ocean Reef Park
Explore more than 700 feet of guarded beach frontage on Singer Island, including children's play area, picnic areas, outdoor restrooms and more. This beach is known as a good snorkeling spot. Directions: Interstate I-95 to Blue Heron Boulevard East.
Phil Foster Park
Calm surf and a marked swimming area make this beach a favorite for families with young children. Boat tours of the waterways available, as well as concessions and a 24-hour boat ramp. Directions: 900 E. Blue Heron Blvd., Riviera Beach
Riviera Beach Municipal
A developed beach, Riviera Beach Municipal is located on Singer Island and offers lifeguards, as well as restaurants and a shopping plaza.
Palm Beach Municipal Beach
This is a mostly undeveloped beach whose sands were recently restored. From here you can walk to trendy Worth Avenue.
R.G. Kreusler Park
R.G. Kreusler Park is a unique property that includes nearly 500 feet of beach and a manicured lawn area where palm trees blowing in the sea breeze offer shad for picnics or lounging. Directions: 2695 S. Ocean Blvd., Palm Beach
Lake Worth Municipal Beach
This lively place has a 1,200-foot beach with pool and lifeguards, a pier with bait/tackle shop, cabana, beach chair and boogie board rentals, playground and restaurant.

Town of Lantana Park & Beach
Fishing, snorkeling, children's play area, undeveloped beach areas, picnic tables, restaurant, and gift shop make this beach a local and visitor favorite. Directions: Ocean Ave. and A1A.
Ocean Inlet Park
Set on the Intracoastal Waterway, this park offers jetties to fish from, a marina, children's play area, ocean overlook, snack bar, picnic areas, and more than 1,100 feet of sparkling beach. Directions: 6990 N. Ocean Blvd, Ocean Ridge
Boynton Beach Municipal Park
This is a classic beach with ocean swimming, BBQ and picnic areas, snack bar and restrooms, as well as a beautiful boardwalk that skirts the dunes. Directions: A1A just north of E. Ocean Ave.
Gulfstream Park
Gulfstream is a quiet place with 600 feet of beach frontage, surf fishing and a children's play area. Directions: 7789 N. Ocean Blvd, Gulfstream.
Delray Municipal Beach
A 7,000-foot beach front with designated areas for swimming, surfing, volleyball, sailing, wind surfing, snorkeling and kite flying. Cabanas are available for rent. Directions: Ocean Blvd. at Atlantic Ave.
Atlantic Dunes Municipal
This family beach has more than seven acres to explore from white sandy beaches to a nature walk through a tropical tree canopy.
Spanish River Park
Enjoy 95 pristine acres and more than a half-mile of beach at this park. Covered shelters, boat docks, an observation tower and nature trails, as well as access to the ocean and freshwater river. Directions: 3001 Ocean Blvd., Boca Raton
Red Reef Park
Sixty-seven acres of developed oceanfront are yours to discover. A 680-foot boarwalk along the dune line, as well as grilling areas and a playground contribute the relaxing attitude that pervades here. Directions: 1400 State Rd. A1A (a mile north of Palmetto Park Rd.), Boca Raton.
South Inlet Park
Beach frontage on both the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway offer lots of room for fishing, surfing, windsurfing and swimming at this park. A pier and rock jetty are also on site. Directions: Interstate I-95 to Palmetto Park Road East. South of Boca Raton Inlet.
South Beach Park and Pavilion
Nearly 1,700 feet of glistening sandy beach and 25 preserved acres line the sparkling blue ocean. Above at the pavilion is a viewing area. Directions: 400 N. Ocean Blvd, Boca Raton
Deerfield Beach
Jet Skiing, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing or angling off the 24-hour fishing pier are just some of the activities you can enjoy at this virtually undeveloped beach. The nearby Deerfield Island Park is accessible by boat. Directions: I-95 to Hillsboro Blvd. Exit. East to AIA, left to pier.
Pompano Beach
With its three-and-a-half mile beach, the Intracoastal Waterway and its canals, Pompano Beach is an outstanding sport fishing area. This family-oriented beach also has a playground in the sand for children, as well as a fishing pier and restaurant. Directions: I-95 to Atlantic Blvd. East to Pompano Beach.
Lauderdale-by-the-Sea
Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is one of the last remaining spots in South Florida for shore diving. A simple stroll from the beach by Anlin's Pier into the warm Atlantic waters will take you to a natural reef that is accessible to scuba divers and snorkelers. Directions: I-95 to Commercial Blvd. Exit east to El Mar Drive.
Fort Lauderdale
A white wave wall along a landscaped brick-paved promenade provides spectacular views of the sapphire water and golden sand. In-line skating, jogging, bicycling or just people watching and sunbathing are common activities at this popular beach. Directions: I-95 to Sunrise Blvd. East on Sunrise Blvd to A1A. Turn right, heading south.
Hugh Taylor Birch State Park
Formerly the estate of the Chicago lawyer of the same name, this beach offers three and a half miles of pristine shoreline and nearly 180 acres of lush gardens in the center of Fort Lauderdale. Nature Trails, camping, bike paths and canoeing are just some of the activities here.
John U. Lloyd Beach State Park, Hollywood
Lloyd Beach has two boat ramps with easy access to the ocean through the Port Everglades Inlet. Snorkeling offers views of tropical fish while nature trails offers glimpses of beautiful birds and animals. Concessions available.
Dania Beach
Dania Beach is easily accessible and conveniently located just one mile from the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport. This family-friendly beach has unique Seminole "chickee huts" for shade, playgrounds on the sand and tours of SeaTech's submarine, a Florida Atlantic University Ocean Engineering program. Directions: I-95 to 595 East. Take Dania exit before airport to Federal Hwy (US1). Head south to Dania Beach Blvd. First right over Intracoastal Bridge.
Hollywood Beach
Aside from the crystal-blue ocean, Hollywood Beach is best known for its Broadwalk, a 27-foot wide thoroughfare with its own cycle path, that parallels two miles of palm-fringed beach. The Broadwalk boasts boutiques, outdoor cafes with a French flair and nightlife under the stars. North Hollywood Beach is a haven for shell seekers and families in search of quieter amenities. Directions: I-95 to Sheridan St. Head east to A1A. Turn right, heading south to Hollywood Beach.
Oleta River State Park
Located at the northeast corner of Miami-Dade County, Oleta River State Park is the largest urban park in the state at 1,043 acres. Canoe and kayak the river and the Intracoastal Waterway, fish off the pier or bike through a tree hammock.
North Miami Beach
Small neighborhood beaches can be found along the glimmering shore of North Miami Beach. This beach community offers all of the beauty of turquoise waters and golden sand found without the city bustle.
Sunny Isles Beach and Pier
Located in North Miami Beach, this soft-sand gathering area offers a mix of entertainment and relaxation in this resort area. From the pier you can gaze over the azure ocean and perhaps see a sea turtle below. Fishing and a snack bar are offered on site.
Bal Harbour
This island to the north of Miami Beach is a mostly private enclave that houses the rich and famous. Two miles of sandy shoreline overlook the city to the south, and jogging and exercise courses can be found along the beach. Nearby shops, spas and golfing.
Haulover Beach and Pier
This park offers a 172-acre beach with lifeguards, picnic areas and beautiful vistas of this tropical shoreline. Designated clothing-optional section in assigned area at the northern end of the beach. Restaurants and marina nearby.
Miami Beach
Movie stars and models on fashion shoots are just the start of the beautiful sights to be seen on Miami Beach. Sultry and pulsating, Miami Beach is non-stop fun from white-sand beaches to international bistros. Palm trees and art deco buildings mesh along the cityscape, from north 78th St. at Collins Avenue south to Ocean Drive.
Lummus Park
Found on Miami Beach, Lummus Park has walking trails, children's playgrounds and many cafés nearby. There is a gay and lesbian beach on 12th Street.
South Beach
South Beach is the center of all things high fashion and high society in Miami. Beautiful palm-lined beaches are just steps away from trendy restaurants, boutiques and nightclubs.
Virginia Key Beach
Located on Biscayne Bay, the southern beach is the only beach in the county where leashed dogs are allowed. This is a favorite local hangout with a calm atmosphere.
Hobie Beach/Windsurfer Beach
Located along the Rickenbacker Causeway in Key Biscayne, good winds and smooth waters make Hobie Beach the place for windsurfing, sail boarding and sailboats.
Crandon Park Beach
Set on the northern half of Key Biscayne, this county beach is popular with families thanks to its picnic facilities, barbecue pits and volleyball rentals, as well as golden sand and soft waves.
