Daytona International Speedway property covers approximately 480 acres.
The infield comprises 180 acres including 44-acre Lake Lloyd. The track has
approximately 168,000 permanent grandstand seats and additional spectators
are permitted to view race events from the infield. The Speedway is the largest
sporting arena in the southeast. The garage area can accommodate 164 race
cars in covered garages.
The road course at Daytona International Speedway is 3.56-miles long and
the tri-oval is 2.5-miles long. The famed “high banks” are 31 degrees. The
Speedway’s Superstretch measures 3,000 feet while its Frontstretch has a total
length of 3,800 feet. Pit road is 1,600 feet long.
In 1998 Musco Lighting, Inc. transformed Daytona International Speedway into
the largest lighted sports complex in the world.
Information Centers
Speedway Information Centers where guests can get information about the
day’s track activities, guest amenities, access disabled assistance carts, and
directions to various areas of the track, are located throughout the speedway
property:
• The Main Information Office, located outside the track’s tunnel entrance on
its east side, is open everyday of Speedweeks and the Pepsi 400 events, 8:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Other information centers are located throughout the speedway property
and open several hours in advance of events on event days.

Speedway Staff Vests and Colors
Throughout the Event activities, Daytona International Speedway staff will be
outfitted in various colored vests, jackets and aprons, representing their area
of responsibility in an effort to better assist Speedway guests. Here’s what the
colors signify:
• Red Jackets – Checkered Flag Committee
• Orange Vests - Parking
• Purple Vests - Programs
• Blue Vests - Ticket Operations
• Neon Orange - Ticket Supervisors
• Green Vests - Ushers
• White Vests - Information Ambassadors

• Pit Shop - Offering racing-related souvenirs and apparel, the Pit Shop is
located in DAYTONA USA.

NASCAR NEXTEL Cup competitors, at the corner of International Speedway
Blvd. and Midway Blvd. and on Speedway property behind the Superstretch
grandstands along Midway Blvd.

Souvenir Programs
• Fans can pick up limited edition Souvenir Programs for the events in the Pit
Shop (DAYTONA USA lobby) and throughout the Speedway at the Program
and Speedway Merchandise Booths. The Event Official Souvenir Program will
include:
• Starting lineup
• Scanner frequencies
• Program protector
Daytona International Speedway announced that in an effort to provide a safe
environment for our race fans, while ensuring everyone timely entry to view the
event, the following procedures have been put into place:
Fans may enter ISC facilities with:
• One soft side bag/cooler, no larger than 6 x 6 x 12 inches. Examples include
a soft side cooler, a scanner bag, a fanny pack, a
purse, a diaper bag, or a binocular bag, etc. This
one bag may be carried in any manner, i.e. by
handle, with shoulder straps, on a belt, etc. The
soft side insulated cooler may contain ice.
• One clear plastic bag, no larger than 18 x 18 x 4
inches to accommodate samples received and purchases
made after fans have parked their cars. This
one clear bag may be carried in any manner, i.e. by
handle, with shoulder straps, etc. Clear plastic bags
may not contain ice.
Note: Fans are allowed to bring in one each of the
bags described above.
• Binoculars, scanners, headsets, cameras, not in
a bag, worn separately over the neck or on the
belt and seat cushions carried separately are also
allowed.
• Seat cushions with compartments will be
reviewed on an individual basis.
All items brought through the grandstand gate will be inspected.
The following may not
enter the admission gates:
• Firearms, fireworks and items restricted by Local, State and Federal laws.
• Hard sided coolers, thermos and insulated cups of any size.
• Items restricted by track policy.
• No strollers, umbrellas, etc
.
• Any bags, backpacks, or containers larger than the allowed size.
None of the above restricted items may be left in or around the gate area.

To expedite entrance into the facility, guests are encouraged to arrive at the
gates as early as possible.
• All guests, regardless of age, must have valid admission for entry into Daytona
International Speedway (DIS).
• For your safety and as a courtesy to other guests, standing on the seats and
along fence lines is prohibited.
• Activities that violate the rules and policies of DIS may result in action including
immediate removal from the premises. Tickets, passes and admissions may
be confiscated and are non-refundable.
• We ask for guests’ cooperation by adhering to all DIS rules and policies and
by always respecting the rights of other guests.
Golf Cart Policy
• Golf carts or other approved vehicles used on the Daytona International
Speedway property are permitted for business purposes only.
No personal use is allowed for any reason.
• Permitted golf carts must be registered (including provision of insurance) with
Daytona International Speedway and must display the yearly ISC or official event
registration credential on the golf cart at all times.
• Permitted golf carts must be driven by a licensed driver over the age of 18.
• No one under the influence of alcohol may operate a golf cart. No consumption
of alcohol is permitted in the cart. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in
any powered vehicle, except for outside commercial delivery purposes only.
• Physically impaired, disabled or handicapped persons are permitted to use
commercially manufactured single-person electric convenience vehicles (ECVs).
These vehicles will not require a registration credential.
• Violation of these regulations will result in the golf cart being impounded for
the remainder of the event weekend and possible expulsion of the operator from
the property.
These regulations are designed to provide a safe environment for all persons
attending events at Daytona International Speedway. Thank you for your cooperation.
In case of emergency, contact a Speedway representative immediately at extension
7300 or call (386) 947-6755. Or, if you observe illegal or otherwise inappropriate
activity, please contact a Speedway representative.
Only in emergency situations will the Speedway attempt to page guests. All
paging is coordinated through Speedway Security. (Note: Non-emergency
pages cannot be accommodated and paging is not done during an event.)
First Aid
First Aid Stations are located throughout the grandstands and infield. A fully staffed
Infield Care Center is positioned inside the Speedway, as well as outside
the frontstretch at the base of the City’s pedestrian bridge.
Lost and Found/Party Separation
For lost items, contact the Speedway Security Office east of the tunnel entrance
outside the Speedway. DAYTONA USA also has a lost and found area, located
at its guest services desk in the lobby. If a guest has lost a member of his/her
party, they may contact a Speedway employee and efforts will be made to
rejoin them.
Children’s Wristbands
Free Child Safety and identification Wristbands (with space to list the child’s
name, your pre-selected meeting location, the parent / guardian’s name and
telephone number, medical and other key information) are available at Guest
Information Centers and DAYONA USA’s Guest Services Desk.
