the winter sports enthusiast, France has much to offer
with the largest linked Ski and Snow - board area in the
world with more than 6000 ski trails for all levels of
ability, spread across six mountain ranges; The Northern
Alps, Southern Alps, Pyrenees, Massif Central, Jura and
Vosages, and includes Mount Blanc Europe's tallest peak
at 15,781 feet.

majority of slopes are at high altitude and provide exhilarating
runs, the variety is superb, Also with high altitudes
there is glacier skiing giving good quality snow and a
long season. The slopes are graded green, blue, red and
black according to skill levels.

other types of winter sports are catered for from; downhill,
cross - country and telemark skiing, snow boarding and
snow blades most resorts offer on slope apres - ski such
as skidoo and toboggan runs.

also has some off piste opportunities but we strongly recommend
