Our self-drive trip gives you the total freedom to decide how to spend your time. We have hotels in Brussels, plus Castle Vaeshartelt, located 65 kilometres from the circuit in Maastricht. Includes 3 nights hotel accommodation.
The journey there: Travel to Dover to catch a reserved morning ferry to Calais on Friday 27th August, or, to Folkestone for Eurotunnel. The journey from Calais to Brussels should take between two and three hours, leaving you with plenty of time to check-in and explore the city. Calais to Maastricht is about four hours. Your hotel room is reserved for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night.
At the race: On the Saturday you can choose to spend more time in Brussels, enjoy the garden and surroundings of Castle Vaeshartelt or head out to the circuit to watch the qualifying laps and support events. On Sunday, we recommend an early start so as to arrive in good time to enjoy the build-up.
The return journey: After checkout on Monday morning it is a short journey back to Calais to catch your reserved early afternoon ferry or Eurotunnel crossing.
