Hockenheim is one of the fastest circuits and most atmospheric races on the Formula One calendar – home supporters arrive in their thousands to cheer on Schumacher and co. In 2003 they were semi-pleased with Montoya producing a strong drive to claim first place in the Williams-BMW, with Coulthard second in the McLaren-Mercedes.
The overhaul of Hockeinheim in 2002 has resulted in a shorter course with more overtaking opportunities. The grandstands, several of which are grouped around the series of corners near the start/finish line, offer some of the best views of the action in the Formula One season.
We offer several travel options to Hockenheim – you can fly, hop across the channel on our coach tour, or, make your own way through France and Germany in your own car visiting villages and breweries on the way.
We offer two hotels - the Limburgerhof just 15 kilometres from the circuit and the Holiday Inn, situated in the beautiful and lively city of Heidelburg.
