| Le Mans really starts as soon as you leave the ferry – join the procession of cars down through France, soaking up the atmosphere of this unique event as you travel. Includes 3 nights accommodation.
The journey there: Travel to Dover to catch a reserved mid morning ferry to Calais on Friday 11th June, or, to Folkestone for Eurotunnel. Join the procession south, travelling in convoy with an array of modern and vintage sports car. Stop on the way to chat with fellow fans and sample some French cuisine. How long it takes you to get to your destination isn’t really the point, but when you do get there your accommodation is reserved for Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.
At the race: On the Saturday you can either drive directly to the circuit or catch a shuttle bus from the town centre. Racing starts at 4pm with plenty of activity beforehand. As the race progresses into the night you can return to your accommodation for a few hours snooze – or, see the night out and catch up on your sleep on Sunday night.
The return journey: After checkout on Monday morning join the rest of the Brits on the journey back north to Calais, to catch a reserved late afternoon ferry or Eurotunnel crossing.
