Naxos

Naxos is the largest of the Cyclades islands.

Here the marble ruins of the Temple of Apollo gives us an insight of the islands past.

As you explore the narrow cobbled alleyway further images of years gone by are in evidence within the inner walls of the old Venetian citadel.

In contrast the modern abounds and overflows from the many bars and restaurants along the busy waterfront.

Naxos dose not lack it's share of fine sandy beaches, stretching for miles south of the town. Wind surfing, water-skiing, pedaloes and jet-skiing are just some of the fun to be had on this great holiday destination.
