Stoupa a quaint seaside resort fringing the Mani peninsula tucked away among olive groves on a small plain between the Taiyetos mountains and the sea has two wonderfull sandy beaches sloping gently into the sea perfect for families.[ bathing topless here is highly offencive to the locals and is not recommended] .

There tavernas a few bars a pizzeria, ice- cream parlour and a couple of supermarkets and some souvenir shops .

Don't expect to find any night life , but you will have the opportunity to explore the world - famous archaeological sites of Olympia , Sparta, Nafplion and much more .
