Tinos

Tinos just under 200 sq miles and is a mountainous island with a coastline ranging from steep cliffs to picturesque bays.

It is said the Venetians built some 800 dovecotes beautifully chiselled from stone dotted all over the island.

Tinos Town is a prosperous capital with shops, bars, and restaurant's.

Once a year on August 15th a world famous religious pilgrimage is held.

There are good beaches close to town and others on the northern coast.
