Local public transport is not as efficient as in the UK. Renting a car in North Cyprus is easy and relatively cheap, between £15 to £36 a day depending on the car hired. You drive on the left as in the UK and a current driving licence (not an international one) is all that is needed. The road conditions are reasonably good and signposted, with the urban and village speed limit set at 65kph.
